Welcome to Relationshift Counselling! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

 

1. Services Offered

 

We provide professional counselling, life coaching services, online courses, and in-person training. Our services are designed to support your personal growth and well-being. Please note that our services are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for mental health conditions. Our coaches are not licensed medical professionals and do not provide medical advice. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.

 

2. Appointments and Fees

 

  • Session Length: All Counselling and Life coaching sessions are 50- 60 minutes long.

  • Intake Session: Initial intake sessions are complimentary.

  • Booking: Sessions can be purchased individually or as a package for flexible scheduling.

  • Availability: Evening appointments are available three days per week for your convenience.

  • Session Format: We offer both in-person and virtual (online) sessions.

  • Payment: All fees for sessions and packages are due on the day of the service. We accept cash, credit card, and e-transfer.

  • Pricing: Current pricing for individual sessions and packages is available on our page.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise.

  • Cancellations/Rescheduling by Client: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, or if you miss an appointment, you will be charged for 50% of the full session fee.

  • Cancellations/Rescheduling by Relationshift Counselling: In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible and work with you to find a suitable alternative time.

4. Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our services. All information shared during your counselling and coaching sessions will be kept strictly confidential, subject to the following exceptions:

  • Harm to self or others: If there is a clear and imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or others.

  • Child or elder abuse: If we learn of any suspected child abuse or neglect, or elder abuse.

  • Court order: If we are required by a court of law to disclose information.

  • Professional supervision: For the purpose of professional supervision, ensuring ethical practice, where your identity will be protected.

  • Legal requirements: As otherwise required by law.

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Attend sessions punctually.

  • Provide accurate and complete information.

  • Engage actively and openly in the process.

  • Respect our cancellation policy.

  • Understand that the effectiveness of counselling and coaching depends on your commitment and participation.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and session materials, is the property of Relationshift Counselling or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
